Dear Friends,

I want to thank all of you who worked so hard for me during this election.

It is humbling to have the support, contributions, encouragement, advice, and prayers that I have received. It is greatly appreciated.

I have met many wonderful people during the past year who I consider friends, and words cannot express my gratitude.

We have something in Haywood County that most counties can only dream of. We have folks from all walks of life who are ready and willing to stand up and work for the things we believe in, and I am confident this group will not only grow in number, but also in strength, wisdom, honor, and courage. Isn’t it great to know we have many citizens who love freedom and liberty just as much as we do!

I also want to thank my family for the support they provided, especially my sweet wife who has worked countless hours.

May God ever bless our great country, and may God ever bless you and your family.

CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT

We need a limited government that represents the people. I will work to keep our local government from usurping power that takes rights from you, and gives more power to them. I will not vote for a rule or ordinance that violates your Constitutional rights. As a private citizen I have worked to defend our property rights and liberties and will continue to do so as a Commissioner.

JOBS

Healthy job creation is the role of small businesses, not the government. We should create an environment that is business friendly, by reducing some unnecessary rules and regulations that hinder prosperity.

YOUR MONEY

As an elected Commissioner, I don't believe I have the right to take you into debt. I will not take out loans that are not approved by you, the citizens. My goal will be to work towards reducing the debt as quickly as possible.

I will explore ways to ensure the wisest use of your tax dollars. I have saved the company I work for millions of dollars. I believe I can do the same for our county.

I will not vote to raise your property taxes.
